With over 35 years of coaching, playing, teaching and strength/conditioning experience, Tim strives to help athletes reach their goals in the most efficient manner possible. Through his expertise in the use of Dartfish Video Analysis technologies, parents and athletes are provided the ability to develop each individual's skill set to help create athletic success. Tim began his educational and athletic career in his hometown of Tampico, IL and that instruction provided him the foundational skills to study and compete athletically all over the United States.
Through those experiences, Tim has been blessed with the education and training to bring his vast experiences to his home town of Tampico, IL. Through those experiences, Tim has been blessed with the education and training to bring his vast experiences to his home town of Tampico, IL. Growing up in a small town, Tim understands the limitations and economics in accessing current training techniques. Even though Tim was able to further his playing career in baseball and basketball at Wabash Valley College and then to Quincy University, he understands the struggles small town kids face in trying to advance their college playing experience beyond high school. Tim strives to give back to the small towns of Whiteside County and the surrounding communities by providing modern training techniques at an affordable price.
Tim has extensive experience providing strength and conditioning programs for both athletes and non athletes alike. He completed at PhD in Exercise Science, a MS in Exercise Physiology and he is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Tim has also obtained the Dartfish Certified Technologist credential which demonstrates his proficiency in the application of high tech video analysis tools. In September of 2019 Tim achieved on of the highest honors in collegiate strength coaching. Tim was awarded the Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach * E credential for over 20 years of working with college athletes and youth athletes from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
As a former standout athlete at Tampico High School Tim obtained numerous all conference awards in basketball and football. He went on to play collegiate basketball and baseball at Wabash Valley College and then to Quincy University. As a former standout athlete at Tampico High School Tim obtained numerous all conference awards in basketball and football. He went on to play collegiate basketball and baseball at Wabash Valley College and then to Quincy University. After concluding his collegiate playing career Tim begain playing fastpitch softball for the Tampico Softball Club (Tampico, IL), which lead to a playing career than now spans over 25 years. He has been named to numerous all world and all american teams in NSA, ASA and NAFA national tournaments. Tim will be inducted into the State of Illinois USA Softball Hall of Fame in Oct. 2024
Coach Hatten has baseball and fastpitch softball coaching experience both college, high school and club level. He was the Head Coach of the BAC Pride Men's 23 U Fastpitch softball club that won the 2008 International Softball Congress (ISC) 23 U World Tournament and finished 2nd in the ASA 23 U National Tournament in 2008. Under his guidance ten of his players have received All American Honors at ASA National Tournament events.
